Spring Yet?

As I look outside at the beautiful sunshine and see that this afternoon temperatures will almost reach 60 degrees, I am reminded of how beautiful last Sunday was - just gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous - it made me want spring to get here NOW! Luke is napping now, but, hopefully, we will get a chance to go outdoors when he wakes up. Last Sunday, we played at the park for awhile and then came home and rode Thomas in the front yard and played with bubbles. We had a blast! One of the best weekends we have had in awhile.

There's really not much to add about my Lukester this week - he continues to exhibit his own personality. I'll let the pictures do the talking...

The first few include Luke playing with a mirror. I pulled out the mirror in my closet and let him dance/talk to himself...he loved it! He loved it so much that I'm going to put a mirror on the back of his bedroom door so he can play anytime he wants. :)

One night last week, Luke reached for the spoon while I was feeding him so I put food on the spoon, then handed it to him and let him feed himself. We had a quite a mess, but I was very proud of him for this attempt at independence.

Here are some pictures of our afternoon playing outside...so much fun! Luke's favorite part was walking around the front yard while picking up bark and leaves. The last time that it was warm enough for him to play outside, he couldn't walk, so he is especially excited now that he can get around like he wants to outside.

On Monday afternoon, my mom (a.k.a "memaw") came over...Luke LOVES his memaw because she has so much energy! Playtime is never boring with her! Check it out..

Bless you Luke! :)

Luke loves to hug and kiss his stuffed lamb...

Here's a few more pictures from our outdoor time last Sunday - this is our neighbor, William, with Luke riding around in the wagon. Fun, fun!

Have a great week everyone! Let's pray for NO SNOW!! :)
