To My Daddy

In Luke's eyes, his daddy is "RAD" (just like his shirt says). As we approach the weekend dedicated to thanking dads, I thought I would share some reasons why Landis holds such a huge place in Luke's heart. If Luke could put his love into words, I think he would say....."I love you, daddy, because...."

-you hug me everyday when you get home from work, you let me "drive" your truck, you brush my hair and part it perfectly each night after my bath, you ride me around on the lawn mower, you make me laugh when you run and dive into my tunnel, you talk to me and remind me to chew my food when we eat dinner, you protect me, you provide for me-I have everything I need, you love and respect my mommy, and, unfortunately, you sometimes have to spank, spank me if I don't listen to you or her, and you love Jesus and teach me to love Him too.

To my hubby, best friend, and best daddy in the world - thank you for who you are and the love and support you provide for me and Luke. I love you! Happy Father's Day!

To my daddy, thank you for always being there for me. For 31 years now, you have always provided anything you could to help me. You have a huge heart and I am so thankful that God blessed me with a dad like you! I pray Luke is giving and kind just like you! Happy Father's Day!

To all the Dad's out there, the Bumgarner family wishes you a wonderful day filled with tons of special memories of family and togetherness. :)

Here are some pics....some Father's Day related and some not....

That's my dad celebrating his birthday with us last weekend....we had so much fun....my brother, his girlfriend, Landis, Luke and I grilled out and spent time together - I love doing that!

RAD like DAD again!
Making silly noises....
Trying to help Daddy with the homemade ice cream....by the way, Luke says "daddy" in the cutest way....he says, "DA-DEEEE" - he drags out the last part in this high pitch way....I'll try to capture it on video....
"Driving" daddy's truck....

This is Luke getting ready to go to the pool...this is his bathing suit cover up....so cute!

This is a picture I had from awhile back...I think it was the last day that Luke wore jeans for this year.....
And, a short video of Luke in his cover up. When the dogs bark, Luke shakes his finger at them to tell them to "Be Quiet!" I started this video because they were barking and I thought he would do it....he didn't do that, but he did shake his head "no!" when I asked him if he was ready to go to the pool....watch closely.

It's Thursday, not Tuesday, so I have a full day of work today and then a half day tomorrow and SUMMER BEGINS!! So, so excited!
