The Eater, The Grabber, and The Squealer

That little man looks like trouble, huh? :) Trouble for the ladies one day...:)
I now have an eater, grabber, and squealer...
The Eater: Luke is doing better and better each day with eating cereal using a spoon. He is now realizing that he has to open his mouth when the spoon comes toward him. He still spits out about every other spoonful, but I am seeing improvement AND the best part is that he must be actually getting some cereal on his stomach because he is back to waking up at 4:00am instead of 2:00am - WOW! Those middle of the night feedings were killing me...considering that I get up everyday (pre-baby) at 4:00am, I can stand that early rising time...:)
Here are some pictures of Luke eating his cereal...

The Grabber: at this stage, Luke is doing very well with his hands. He can get them in his mouth any time that he wants and he is able to grab anything that he wants within his reach..including mommy's hair, nose, mouth, sunglasses, etc. It is so cute to watch his face light up when he touches what he was aiming for...here are some pictures of Luke grabbing...

In the next two, I had Luke sitting amongst groceries as I unpacked them, so I decided to use the waters and some toys to entertain the 15 pounder while mommy worked on those groceries...in the mommy dittionary, we call that "multi-tasking" :)

Finally...the squealer...the last few days, Luke has been doing this high pitched squeal...most of the time, it's a happy squeal, sometimes it's the beginning of a whine. You can hear him all over the house and today at lunch, you could hear him all over the restaurant. I am guessing that he is learning to hear himself make many different sounds and this happens to be the sound of the week...this video is a mild squeal...the squeal was much louder earlier in the day...check out THE SQUEALER...

Well, it's off to prepare for the dreaded Monday...have a great week everyone! :)
