One of the best parts of summer for me and Luke is that we get to spend extra time with family. Because my mom has a flexible job, we try to spend as much time as we can with mom and Lexi - Luke loves them both! Sometimes when Mom has to show a house, I will keep Lexi at my house. Every time they have a blast! Last week, Mom met us at the library after story time and Lexi went home with us. Luke and Lexi played blocks together, danced together, and ate lunch together. All I had to do what sit back and watch them entertain each other.
Lexi is a sweet girl - a good hearted, intelligent, super athlete, who is so very blessed to have my mom as her mom and my stepdad as her dad. We are blessed to have her in our family! Thank you, Lexi, for being a light in Luke's eyes!
Here are some pictures and video....
That's Luke talking to Lexi while they build blocks together....
and, then....being silly together....

This is Lexi with my nephew, Caleb. The picture was taken at the beach....we love Caleb too and wish he lived closer by so he could play with Luke. (We did get a chance to see Caleb for a little while at the beach - Luke loved watching Lexi and Caleb play - more to come on that.)
#1-We had the music playing while Luke and Lexi played together - all of a sudden, Luke began dancing to a song and then Lexi started dancing.
#2-Luke diligently helping Lexi build a tower.
I can't believe I was able to post today (a little earlier than expected) - Luke is taking an unusual afternoon nap so I took advantage of the free time.
Check back soon....we have a busy few days coming up so it may be Sunday before I can post again....see you then! :)
