First and foremost, let's celebrate....the 2010-11 School Year is officially over FOR THE STUDENTS!!! Congratulations to all you kiddos out there! Happy Summer to You!! For us, the educators, just a few days left....4 and a half for me, to be exact, and, boy, those 4 1/2 are going to be WILD!! Matter of fact, I went by Fair Grove this morning to do a little work and am going to be working some more on some paperwork tonight. Ending the year is quite a task for the office staff. Oh well, I see the light at the end of the tunnel and it sure is a bright one and looks to be a HOT one!!! :) Did I hear that a cold front is coming next week???? I mean, I will take 80 degree weather....it has to be better than this 90 degree stuff! Wow!
Speaking of weather, the warm, summer weather usually brings about many grilling out parties and get togethers. For the Bumgarners, that has definitely been the case for the last month or so....and we are still going strong....my dad is coming over tomorrow night to celebrate his birthday with a cook out and some homemade ice cream....yummy! Happy Birthday Dad!
Last weekend, we attended a cook out graduation party for Landis' cousin, Michelle. It was super fun! I have some pictures below! Then, on Sunday, we grilled out at my mom's house to celebrate my grandaddy's 75th birthday! It was super fun, too!
You know what I love best about all of these cookouts??? It involves getting a chance to see family and friends that we love! :) I brag all the time about being from a large family....it is so good for us and for Luke to be around so many people that love him! He has a blast and is so willing to let everyone pass him around! He has no idea yet how blessed he is!
Here are some pics of a few celebrations!
First....the pictures from mom's house and the pool...
Luke at the pool....

Luke with Papaw Bumgarner.....he scarfed down some ice cream and cake!!!

At the graduation party, they had tons of little game stations set up....Luke had a great time going to each one and trying out the "equipment".....

The last few pics were actually taken on Mother's Day at our house cooking out....I'm just a little delayed in posting them....
Brad and Lexi seemed to like the sandbox as much as Luke...
Luke and memaw playing with the wagon...
Time for homemade ice cream....Landis LOVES homemade ice cream....he's a pro at making it so Lexi wants to watch!!
That's all for now....gotta do some school work....check back soon!
