Leaves = Topless Toddler! :)

I'm so behind on posting pictures that I've decided to do small blog posts with a few pictures at a time instead of writing a novel each time. (Plus, to be honest, the Lord is dealing with me about the amount of time that I spend on pictures/blogging about Luke/etc. He wants my full attention and the time that I take to do this is time that I need to be studying God's word - SO, forgive me if my posts get shorter. You may appreciate that!)

As you know, Sundays at the Bumgarner home are all about church and taking it easy.  One Sunday a few weeks ago, Landis played golf while Luke and I stayed home and played outside.  We had a blast! We raked up some of the leaves in Papaw's yard into a big pile. Luke helped make the pile bigger by putting leaves from our yard in his wagon and bringing them to the pile in papaw's yard.  After our pile was complete, Luke took a running start and jumped in the leaves. Then, we had a leaf fight! It was fun!

By the time we were done rolling around in the leaves, we both had leaves EVERYWHERE (you can only imagine, right?).  Well, Luke just couldn't stand the leaves inside his clothes so....he started by taking off his shirt. It was chilly outside but he didn't seem to mind. He thought it was hilarious to be topless in the cold weather running around in the yard.  Well, I guess he had leaves in his pants too because, all of a sudden, he took every stitch of clothing and pulled them around his ankles - as he giggled like crazy, he attempted to run around papaw's yard. It was hilarious!  :)  After chasing him around the carport, I finally convinced him to put his clothes back on and he did.  In the meantime, I have some major black mail pictures for his teenage years!  :)

Here are some pictures of our fun times in the leaves!

I spared you but only showing the top half - as you can almost see, he's wearing his birthday suit and is very happy about it! :)
 While we were outside, I hid a few of these pumpkins on popsicle sticks with Luke - here he is finding one.
Gotta love this time of year! It's my favorite!
