I know, I know....better late than never....here are some pictures from some Christmas festivities BEFORE Christmas Day.
On the Sunday night before Christmas, Landis, Luke and I went to Denton Farm Park to ride the train and to visit Santa. We had an awesome time! Luke did so well visiting Santa - he hopped right up in his lap and told him that he wanted a real 4 wheeler and a Chuck garage. Luke also enjoyed the train. This year, they had a small petting zoo with a small goat and a rabbit that you could pet - Luke loved petting these tame animals. It was a COLD night but we enjoyed being bundled up in each other's company celebrating the Christmas spirit. Here are some pictures....
Waiting on Santa....
Here's a random picture of Luke trying on Daddy's boots...
And Luke giving Daddy a hug....:)
More Denton fun.....(I don't know why these are out of order.) :)
More hugs....:)
Here are a few pictures of our Christmas tree....
And....the 3 pictures I had to take before I got a good one of me and Luke....
All presents wrapped....
Luke helping me put the last presents under the tree...
Making cupcakes for Jesus' birthday....
Singing Happy Birthday to Jesus....
Right before we went to Granny's house on Christmas Eve night, I let Luke open one present under the tree. He opened this Elefun game - it blows butterflies through an elephant's nose and you have to catch them in the nets. He thought this little game was hilarious! :)
Christmas Eve night we went to Granny Otelia's house to celebrate with the whole family. Luke had a blast! He opened like 6 presents - he didn't know what to do with all that stuff! :)
And...finally....after Luke went to bed....Landis and I got everything prepared for Luke's Christmas morning celebration. Here's the living room after everything was set up....
Christmas Day pictures to come soon....but, before I go, watch this cute video of Luke helping me make cupcakes for Jesus! As he dipped cupcake batter from the bowl to the cupcake holders, Luke and I talked about Jesus' birthday and what He did for us. When I mentioned that now we could go to Heaven because of Jesus, Luke says, "If we don't go to Heaven, then we will go to jail." Well, buddy, I think jail would actually be better than what really happens if you don't know Jesus that's why we need to get people SAVED! He also made a cute comment about how we are going to go through the gates of Heaven. And, yes, again, sweet boy, we are going to bust those gates wide open and run to Jesus - our savior! :)
Enjoy the video...
Have an awesome weekend.
Toddy
