Last night I read the Bible story to Luke about how Jesus asked a crowd to let the children through so they could see and touch him. The scripture references were from Luke Chapter 18.
At the end of the story, there was a question that said - "If you could sit on the lap of Jesus, what would you say to Him?"
Luke's response (with no prompting or hesitation) - "Thank you for dying on the cross for me so I can go to heaven."
Ya'll - there's not much else to say - that's precious, PURE, and I am so grateful that my little boy already has a heart towards Jesus. I continue to pray everyday for the strength and the wisdom to continue to mold that little man into a man of God. We've got a long road ahead - but, I'm so grateful that Jesus will be walking with us every step of the way....
