Celebrating William's 3rd Birthday!

Several weeks ago, Landis, Luke, and I celebrated our neighbor and friend, William's 3rd birthday. William was born just 2 days before Luke.  His mom, Caren, and I had the blessing of enjoying pregnancy together as well as each joy and challenge of raising boys each step of the way. Living right across the street from each other gives the boys a chance to play together often. It is so sweet to watch them wave to each other or yell to each other across the street whenever we are both outside. It wasn't by accident that our two families welcomed our boys at the exact same time of the year - it was a perfectly timed blessing from God - a blessing that has brought our family and the Hollady family closer than we could have ever been without these two precious boys. Drew, Caren, and William - we love you bunches and appreciate you letting us celebrate William's 3rd birthday with you.

Here are some pictures of William's birthday celebration at the fire station in Southmont.

Luke driving the big fire truck.

 Playing on the fire boat....

Watching the big fire hose spray water....

Playing with the balloons...all of the kids loved this - Caren put a ton of balloons out in the middle of the floor and the kids had a blast kicking and throwing the balloons.

There is William and Luke - enjoying their snacks together....

 What a silly man!
The kids were trying their best to bust open this pinata...

They finally did and Luke went after every pack of Smarties they had - it's his favorite candy....

And...before I go....here is Luke sitting in his pile of Lincoln logs. We attempted to build a log cabin but Luke ended up in the bucket instead.  Silly Lukester!  :)

Merry Christmas everyone! :)
